We are doing fine...

WE ARE DOING FINE AFTER THE SPINAL INJECTION - this day was more difficult to bare for Laura and me than for Gruia. Two hours after the injection he woke up crying and we were scared at the prospect that for the remaining 4 hours or so we will have to somehow calme him down and keep his head at the horizontal - as the doctors asked. But it turned out that he only wanted milk. He drank 2 bottles (very unusual) and fell asleep again, only to wake up an hour ago.

The nurse that came in took his temperature and the reading was a bit worrying: 37,8 degrees Celsius. But Gruia didn't look feberish and we assumed that the reading was not correct. Ten minutes later (and 2 more bottles of milk on the double) his temperature was looking normal: 36,8 C.

We guess that he is still a little dizzy, because he doesn't want to get up from bed. He lies down and asks for watermelon - his favourite fruit for the moment. The doctor that had performed the spinal came by to check Gruia's status and said he is ok.

Update: When the nurses started to prepare Gruia for the injection it was around 9 am here. Gruia was really scared and he cried a lot. At the same time back home in Romania Gruia's twin Vlad started to cry like mad in the middle of the night (it was about 4 am). We know this after my mother-in-law, who takes care of Vlad while we are in China with Gruia, asked us over YM how and what was Gruia doing at 4 am (Romania's time). It must be something only twins understand...
