The day before yesterday at the zoo

AT THE ZOO - Sunday we went to the zoo. We thought that Gruia will not have any problem, since two days were over since his last spinal injection. We took a taxi to reach our destination. So we went about half an hour in a very comfortable, shiny new taxi, which was fitted with air conditioning. But when we got there, there were 38 degrees Celsius outside, which made a huge difference to the cosy temperature from the taxi.

The catch of the whole story is that half an hour later Gruia was feeling really sick. He started to vomit and we decided to head back to the hospital, hoping that it was the heat and not something else causing all this...

At the hospital Gruia continued to vomit, but one of the doctors reassured us that most likely Gruia wasn't used to so much humidity in the air, and the ride in the taxi to the zoo and the thermic shock have upset his stomach. The doctor used some medicine to calm Gruia's upset stomach, but the amaizing thing is that after that she used pressopuncture to make Gruia feel better. He felt so much better that he fell asleep.

On Monday the vomiting started again, after Gruia got really scared by the needles (needed for the IV). He cried so loud that at one point my wife said she would not be surprised, if Gruia would throw up. Which he did a minute later. This time he was put on glucose through IV for 4 hours, during which time he remained quiet and amaizingly disciplined. Only later in the evening he recovered to his usual energy levels.

There's a big zoo out there in Shijiazhuang...

    Maria a recunoscut-o pe Laura!!! A zis "Aula""Aula". Eu i-am zis ca e cu Gruia...Maria a zis ca "nooo".... ma rog... Sa va intoarceti cu bine! Gruia e un baietel tare curajos! O sa se faca bine!!!

    sa va dea dumnezeu putere sa treceti cu bine si peste experienta asta si cu rezultate bune .va pup pe toti dar cel mai mult pe gruia si sa ii dea dumnezeu putere sa treaca cu bine peste experienta asta si sa aiba rezultatele mult asteptate il pup si pe vlad imi este foarte dor de ei .

    va iubim si avem incredere ca va fi bine.Vladut este bine ,aseara s-a jucat cu Ionut si erau tare dragalasi speram ca si Gruia este bine.
